On the night of October 13th, a cargo ship capsized near the Qiongzhou Strait, and 10 crew members were in danger. The South China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China urgently dispatched the “Nanhai Rescue 102” ship to rescue against the wind and seized 6 people in distress in the storm. Two people have no vital signs.  

  On the morning of the 14th, the South China Sea Rescue Bureau sent an additional fast catamaran rescue ship "Nanhai Rescue 202" to continue the rescue. At the same time, the rescue helicopters of the First Rescue Flying Team of the South China Sea are ready to dispatch. Carry out an aerial search.

As the impact of the typhoon weakened, other rescue forces successively joined the search and rescue operations for the remaining four missing crew members.
