On October 13, the photographer photographed 5 whooper swans in the Whooper Swan National Nature Reserve in Rongcheng, Shandong. These are the first whooper swans to live through the winter in Rongcheng this year.
At present, the reserve has made various preparations to ensure that the whooper swans can survive the winter safely.
Rongcheng is one of the best wintering habitats for whooper swans. Every year since October, tens of thousands of whooper swans fly 2000 to 4000 kilometers from Siberia and other places to come here, the scene is spectacular.
