Japan's largest killer whale 12th birthday commemorative event at the aquarium Nagoya October 14, 4:43

The largest killer whale in Japan, bred in an aquarium in Nagoya, celebrated its 12th birthday and a commemorative event was held.

The birthday was celebrated by the only male killer whale "Earth" in Japan, which is bred at the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium in Minato-ku, Nagoya.

At the event, when the keeper signaled in front of the glass of the pool decorated with the words "Happy Birthday", "Earth" slowly approached and the visitors applauded their birthday.

Then, I used a camera or smartphone to take pictures of "Earth" sticking out his tongue.

"Earth" was born in "Kamogawa Sea World" in Chiba Prefecture and came to the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium five years ago.

It is now 5.5 meters long and weighs 2.4 tons, making it the largest killer whale in the country.

A couple in Nagoya who visited with their 1-year-old daughter said, "I've been watching since I was in Kamogawa, so I'm glad to see it grow so big."

According to the aquarium, male killer whales have a lifespan of about 50 to 60 years, and "earth" is still a young killer whale. I'm glad you did it. It's still getting bigger, so I'd like to keep an eye on it. "
