An Emirati national company has provided 70,000 tests for "Covid-19" to all members of society, including four categories for free, namely: "People of Determination, the Needy, the Impoverished, and the Rashid Center for People of Determination", as part of its efforts to support the health sector in facing the spread of the Coronavirus Newcomer (Covid-19).
The Chairman and CEO of "MIN" and the Al-Tadawi Healthcare Group, Marwan Ibrahim Haji Nasser, told "Emirates Today" that the company, which was founded and managed by Emirati national efforts, was keen to take the initiative to support the efforts of the government health sector during the Corona crisis. Where it harnessed all its capabilities and medical staff to provide all health care services to patients "Covid-19", starting with the provision of PCR tests, in its centers, in addition to providing them at home to specific groups, as it provided 2000 home visits.
Hajji added: “The Emirati company has also ensured that it bears all medical expenses for vulnerable patients who are unable to pay for treatment services. The company also provided services to elderly patients, whose health conditions required long periods of stay for treatment, after being infected with the virus ( Corona) ».
He pointed out that the company is currently running eight health clinics in governmental and private institutions, and it is planned to open three new clinics in the Dubai Civil Defense, Al-Ahly Youth Club, and MBC Group, which provide all medical services, while it intends to open one of the largest and most modern Hospitals in the country, soon, will offer rare specialties for the first time in the country, with national cadres exceeding 30%, with a capacity of 100 beds, and six operating rooms, in addition to providing 144 places using robotic technology.
Hajji added, to “Emirates Today”, that the doctors of the Tadawi Medical Group recently conducted a statistical study, which included 345 people, who received the seasonal influenza vaccine (quadrupeds), during the past year, to measure the effectiveness of the vaccine in the face of the emerging corona virus, as it reached Doctors indicated that only eight people were exposed to the virus, and they were all without symptoms, which indicates a relationship between the influenza vaccine and the reduction in the severity of the symptoms of "Covid-19".
