A new Jordanian decision regarding the bodies of the dead with "Corona"

Today, the Jordanian Ministry of Health decided to hand over the bodies of the dead from the Coronavirus to their families for burial within the framework of public safety protocols, without the need to transfer them to the National Center for Forensic Medicine.


The ministry said, in a press statement today, that a letter has been directed to the Director of the National Center for Forensic Medicine and those concerned about new instructions to deal with deaths from the Coronavirus, which are granting medical facilities the authority to hand over the body of the deceased in Corona to his family, after placing the body in an "evacuation bag" Provided that it is washed and shrouded within the general safety protocols, including wearing masks, gloves and aprons.

According to the statement, the new instructions came based on the recommendation of the National Committee for Epidemics, to limit the role of the National Forensic Medical Center to implementing what was mentioned in the recommendations and providing advice to the families of the deceased.
