As part of its "Art Brings Us Together" event, the (Fann) Foundation, which is concerned with promoting and supporting media art for children and young people in the UAE, is presenting today four Arab and international films, to a number of directors on the Fimo video platform, on the Foundation's website, targeting children up to 11 years old.

The screenings will start today (from 5 pm until 5:30 pm), with the film "The Plant" by Emirati director Hamda Al Medfa, in which she wonders within five minutes about the fate of a flower that a girl found on the street after her iPad tablet was destroyed, and how she put her in A cup full of dirt, and he left it on the table for her mother to find and throw it in the garbage, where the story begins with the girl recovering the rose and starting to take care of her again.

Children will be on a date with an autumn day, during which they will enjoy seeing leaves in their many colors, and animals of all kinds, in the movie "The Last Day of Autumn", by the Swiss director Marjolin Berretin, who offers the little ones the opportunity for seven minutes to watch the bicycle race between a bear, a rabbit, and a hedgehog, The turtle, the squirrel, the snake, the fox, and how they get stuck in the mud, overcoming the various obstacles to reach the end of the race.

Over the course of seven minutes, the event will showcase the film "I Found What Should I Do", by Iranian directors Rehan Kafush and Ali Rais. The film, translated from Persian into Arabic and English, triggers the imagination of children to complete the coloring of a drawing begun by two friends, Sherine and Sefer, after their colors run out.

And from Iranian cinema, the action is transmitted with their young ones through the movie "The Butterfly", by British director Noel Clark, to watch, over the course of 11 minutes, how he met a little caterpillar who nibbled on milkweed leaves with a beautiful speed, before intruders put him in a jar that made him frightened, but puts his cocoon in the jar. The film for children has an opportunity to ask questions, and put the ending that they imagine about the possibility of him leaving the jar and meeting his beautiful caterpillar.
