  • In Haute-Garonne, this Monday evening at midnight, 17 municipalities, including Toulouse, go into maximum alert zone, and 86 municipalities in reinforced alert zone.

  • These municipalities are in the territories of Sicoval, Toulouse Métropole, the community of municipalities of Save-au-Touch and Muretain Agglo.

Sunday evening, the prefect of Haute-Garonne announced changes on the frontline of the fight against the coronavirus epidemic.

While additional restrictions have been taken for Toulouse and sixteen other municipalities, which will move from midnight this Monday evening to the maximum alert zone, 86 other municipalities in the department are also subject to new measures.

These towns and villages of the department are all on the territory of Toulouse Métropole, Sicoval, Muretain agglo or even the community of municipalities of Save-au-Touch.

What are the measures in the heightened alert zone?

In addition to the compulsory wearing of a mask for over 11s, a measure valid throughout the department, no gathering of more than 10 people on the public highway is allowed in these municipalities.

No party, whatever its nature, is allowed in establishments open to the public.

Sports activities in indoor establishments, including multi-purpose halls and indoor swimming pools, are prohibited.

With the exception of sports halls and gymnasiums.

Take away between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. is not allowed and bars must close at 10 p.m.

Restaurants can continue to serve until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until midnight on weekdays.

Which municipalities are concerned?

While several municipalities in Toulouse Métropole are on maximum alert, 25 move into enhanced alert zones.

This is the case of Aigrefeuille, Aussonne, Beaupuy, Beauzelle, Brax, Bruguières, Castelginest, Cornebarrieu, Drémil-Lafage, Fenouillet, Flourens, Fonbeauzard, Gagnac-sur-Garonne, Gratentour, Lespinasse, Mondonville, Mons, Montrabé, Pibrac , Pin-Balma, Saint-Alban, Saint-Jean, Saint-Jory, Seilh and Villeneuve-Tolosane.

Within Sicoval, 32 of the 36 municipalities are now affected by these measures.

This is the case of Ayguesvives, Aureville, Auzielle, Baziège, Belberaud, Belbèze-de-Lauragais, Clermont-Lefort, Corrensac, Deyme, Donneville, Escalquens, Espanès, Fourquevaux, Goyrans, Issus, Labastide-Beauvoir, Lacroix-Falgarde , Lauzerville, Mervilla, Montbrun-Lauragais, Montgiscard, Montlaur, Noueilles, Odars, Péchabou, Pechbusque, Pompertuzat, Pouze, Rebigue, Varennes, Vieille-Toulouse and Vigoulet-Auzil.

To the south of Toulouse, 23 municipalities of Muretain Agglo must also comply: Bonrepos-sur-Aussonnelle, Bragayrac, Eaunes, Le Fauga, Fonsorbes, Frouzins, Labarthe-sur-Lèze, Labastidette, Lamasquère, Lavernose-Lacasse, Muret, Pinsaguel, Pins-Justaret, Roques, Roquettes, Saiguède, Saint-Clar-de-Rivière, Saint-Hilaire, Saint-Lys, Saint-Thomas, Saubens, Seysses and Villate.

In the West, six municipalities of the community of municipalities of La Save-au-Touch, located in the inner suburbs of the Pink City, are concerned: La Salvetat-Saint-Gilles, Lasserre-Pradère, Léguevin, Lévignac.
