We have lived the last weeks in Madrid and in the rest of Spain in a permanent state of confusion.
The management of the pandemic has exposed the many shortcomings of a complex state that is beginning to show some worrying symptoms of a failed state, at least in aspects as basic as managing the public health of its citizens.
The fact that the problems revealed are both of a political-institutional nature and of management capacity is not exactly a consolation.
