China News Service, October 12th. Shandong Xinxian Public Security Bureau issued a case report on the 12th, stating that at 16:00 on October 12, 2020, Zhang Mouyong, the suspect in the "10·07" deliberate homicide in Xinxian County, was arrested in Jiangsu.
The case report stated that at 20 o'clock on October 7, 2020, the Xin County Public Security Bureau received a call for help, stating that Zhang (female, 31 years old, now living in Shiyuan Town Village, Zhanglu Town) Yuanding Village sent the children to Zhangtun, Yanta Office in Xin County, but has never returned and lost contact.
The Xinxian Public Security Bureau immediately organized multiple searches. At about 23 o'clock that day, Zhang was found dead in an idle courtyard in Nanwu Village, Zhanglu Town, Xin County. It immediately activated the homicide detection mechanism and set up a task force to conduct investigations.
After preliminary investigations, Zhang and her husband Zhang Mouyong (male, 32 years old, from Zhangtun Village, Yanta Office) had a dispute due to family conflicts and were in divorce. Zhang Mouyong is suspected of having a major issue and has absconded.
The public security organs at the city and county levels immediately set up a 45-person hunting team, followed up along the line, and moved to four provinces and seven cities, including Jinan, Linyi, Jining, Anhui Suzhou, Anhui Huaibei, Henan Yongcheng, and Jiangsu Xuzhou.
At about 16:00 on October 12, with the vigorous cooperation of the Jiangsu police, the hunting team successfully captured the suspect Zhang Mouyong in Suining County, Xuzhou City.
Zhang Mouyong confessed to the crime of killing Zhang.
At present, the suspect Zhang Mouyong has been under criminal detention, and the case is under further investigation.
