A place for consultation and exchange of sexual minorities Opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo October 12, 4:07

A facility where sexual minorities such as LGBT can interact and disseminate information has opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The facility, named "Pride House Tokyo Legacy," was opened by organizations and companies that support sexual minorities.

At the event held on the 11th to coincide with the opening, Hill Ryan, a former female professional basketball player who has just announced that he is a transgender whose mind and body do not match, was invited to "uniqueness". It is my ideal society to respect each other, and I hope that with the opening of the Pride House, we will become a society that accepts diversity. "

The facility has a private booth to make it easier for parties and their families to discuss their concerns, as well as a corner where you can freely browse about 600 LGBT books and a large space for events. ..

In addition, since the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics have set "diversity and harmony" as one of the concepts at the facility, we will disseminate information on LGBT and sports.

Mr. Gon Matsunaka, the representative of Pride House Tokyo, which operates the facility, said, "I hope that this facility will support the hearts of LGBT young people and provide a place where they can consult and interact without hesitation."
