The Champigny-sur-Marne police station was attacked during the night of October 10 to 11 by about sixty masked individuals from the city of Bois l'Abbe.

A person was taken into police custody on Sunday after the fireworks mortar attack at the Champigny-sur-Marne police station on Saturday evening, we learned from a police source.

The man tried to resist during this arrest which took place in Champigny, said the same source, which caused a "large crowd" forcing the agents to use "a grenade" to free themselves.

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, this Val-de-Marne police station was attacked by around forty individuals.

The incidents started shortly before midnight and ended an hour later.

"The little guys don't impress anyone", says Darmanin

The Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin expressed in a tweet his “total support” for the police “who do a difficult job”.

"The little guys do not impress anyone and do not discourage our work against narcotics," he added.
