Youth .. the mainstay of the future

The study of Arab youth for this year showed shocking numbers and results. 4 out of 10 stated that they intend to migrate and move, and most of them came from Arab countries that have foreign fingers that pervade their economies and their security and destroy their future without being accountable or censored or even those who are keen on the interests of their countries and are doing With the necessary reforms and stopping the agents and mercenaries from destroying the capabilities of their countries.

Institutional work to address this frustrating reality is urgent for the growth and stability of the region’s economy, and for keeping its wealth of youth away from migration, displacement, delinquency, crime, addiction, or extremism.

The majority of young people (77%) attributed the reasons for their desire to emigrate to corruption and the growing class gap, which will lead to a loss of promising human talents and a complex economic and societal harm that will require decades of reforms and fighting the fingers of sabotage and its channels, treatments and difficult economic solutions whose results may not appear in a few years.

In fact, the situation in some Arab countries reached 75% of the youth to a height of frustration and pursuit of work in other countries.

Youth frustration has increased, with the impossibility of obtaining adequate job opportunities in their home countries (87%).

In light of the difficult global economic conditions, especially with the travel restrictions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, low employment rates and high unemployment in all countries, seeking a suitable job opportunity has become impossible.

The efforts of the UAE, leadership and institutions, have become a global model to be emulated and an example for others, so that the UAE has become a "beacon of hope" for young people and their preferred choice, precedent for the United States and Canada respectively.

The bill of corruption and devastation has reached astronomical figures, which are difficult to enumerate, and its effects continue for decades and long generations, far from hateful sectarianism or blind partisanship.

Taking care of the youth is an investment of the future, a gateway to hope, and a shield of nations.

Here I quote His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai: “If governments corrupt, the country will be ruined, its security diminished, and its people abandon it.

Every responsible, responsible before God ».

The leadership of the UAE has sought to develop Arab youth and motivate them through several non-traditional national initiatives, including the million programmers, the challenge of Arab reading, the maker of hope, and others, but one hand is not enough. May God help the group, and as the popular proverb said: "People who cooperate will not be humiliated." Whoever invigorates volunteer work and also the humanitarian side of its economic side, by seeking to enhance cultural diversity and building Arab economic, technical institutions remotely, or integrative agricultural industrial to serve the integrative economy between our great Arab homeland without the need for the emigration of bright Arab minds or devoted labor, instead of temporarily resettling them Or migrate it here or there, as these are potential opportunities for a meaningful investment for everyone.

I am proud to say that I made a bet on it and began striving to achieve it years ago despite the many difficulties and challenges, and I see its fruits close, and I am almost certain that many institutional and commercial initiatives will maximize its benefits and effects and motivate them to follow suit.

Let us return to the capitals of Arab culture and civilization with its luster and glory, and regain the status of our civilization among nations, and let us preserve “half of our Arab wealth from the youth who wish to emigrate,” for they are the mainstay of the future.
