Something promised, something due.

In September, Laeticia Hallyday announced on Instagram the imminent release of a new blues track by Johnny.

Two Kinds of Men

, a song recorded in 2014, has just been released.

The singer speaks of love and of these men "who have loved and those who will love".

A clip accompanies this title, interweaving old archival footage, concerts and sequences from Johnny's road trips to the United States.

It ends not a very moving end, the extract of an interview where a question is asked to the rocker: "how long will your life Johnny Hallyday last?"

"Who knows", answers the idol of the young people, a smirk.

"His American dream"

This unreleased song was recorded for the album

Stay Alive

with producer Don Was, who worked with the Rolling Stones.

She had been excluded from the project because another blues song was already there.

"It was in this state, in a hard drive, we did not touch anything.

The idea is to do things of which we are proud and of which we think we would certainly have been proud, ”explained artistic director Bertrand Lamblot to France Bleu.

The title will also appear on the

American Dream

CD / DVD set,

which will be released on October 23.
