Affected by the cold air surrounding the typhoon "Canhong" (typhoon-level), from the 8th night to the 9th day, except for Hangzhou Bay, which is a medium to large wave of 2 meters to 3 meters, the waters of northern Zhejiang and southern Zhejiang will be set off Large waves ranging from 3.5 meters to 5.5 meters are the most serious in the North Zhejiang sea area, with the largest waves reaching 5.5 meters. On the afternoon of the 9th, the wave heights in the sea areas of Zhejiang Province will drop slightly, but the wave level will remain unchanged. There will still be huge waves of 3 to 4 meters in the waters of northern Zhejiang, middle Zhejiang and southern Zhejiang, and there will also be medium to large waves of 1.5 meters to 2.5 meters in Hangzhou Bay.

  In the coastal waters, the coastal waters of Zhoushan and Ningbo will also have large waves of 2.5 meters to 3.4 meters, and the coastal waters of Taizhou and Wenzhou will have medium to large waves of about 1.8 meters to 3.0 meters.

The wave warning level in coastal waters is blue.

  Please pay attention to safety of marine navigation vessels and pay attention to the follow-up pre-warning in time.

  Also affected by the typhoon "Canhong" (typhoon level), at 14:00 today (8th), the Shanghai Ocean Monitoring and Forecasting Center issued a blue wave warning.

  It is estimated that from the afternoon of the 8th to the afternoon of the 9th, there will be 2 to 3.4 meters of medium to large waves in the coastal waters of the Yangtze River Estuary, and 0.6 to 1.2 meters of light waves in the coastal waters of the north of Hangzhou Bay.

All relevant units are requested to do a good job in preventing and avoiding waves.
