French President Emmanuel Macron has promised that the Nation "will be present in the long term" to help the victims of the exceptional bad weather which devastated the Nice hinterland, where he is going on Wednesday afternoon.
“The Nation will be there, present, over time.
Because the Nation does not abandon any of its territories, any of its children, ”wrote the Head of State in a message on Facebook.
Three valleys north of Nice were hit on Friday by torrential rains and brutal floods that left at least four dead and several missing.
