This first fictional feature film by a director from the documentary plunges into their daily lives with palpable compassion.
Maura Delpero gave cinema lessons in one of these homes before writing her screenplay.

Painful choices
"Adolescent motherhood seemed to me to be an extreme situation in which the contradictory feelings, which many women have towards motherhood and which they do not dare to admit, are more evident", insists the filmmaker.
The questioning of the heroines and their painful choices of life are shown in a way as sober as poignant in this work devoid of melodramatic effects.
