According to the WHO, breast cancer affects an additional 1.38 million people each year, and causes 458,000 deaths.

It is the first cancer in women, in developed and developing countries alike.

Each year, this month of October is, in countries all over the world, dedicated to awareness raising, in order to draw more attention to this disease and promote awareness.
