Polygamy, infidelity, sexuality, corruption: certain subjects remain taboo and therefore difficult to discuss in society.
Some series or podcast have decided to talk about it head-on, even if it means creating a scandal like the Senegalese series Mistress of a married man or more recently Infidels qualified as "perverse production inciting fornication and debauchery" by the Islamic NGO Jamra.
Yet these series - often bilingual Wolof-French - beat audience records.
