Tropical storm Delta became a hurricane

Reported by the US National Hurricane Watch Center (NHC).

Delta is becoming the ninth hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, ”NHC said on Twitter.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect for portions of the Yucatan Peninsula and Cuba.

The hurricane warning was extended to the Yucatan Peninsula and Cuba.

Earlier it became known that the tropical storm "Gamma" weakened and became a tropical depression.
