Twitter suspends accounts wishing Donald Trump dead

If you want Donald Trump dead via your Twitter account, it can be closed.

So decided the social network, which recalls one of its rules against abusive behavior, updated in April.

Posting "content wishing, hoping, or longing for death, bodily harm, or incurable disease to any individual or group of people" is strictly prohibited on Twitter.

tweets that wish or hope for death, serious bodily harm or fatal disease against * anyone * are not allowed and will need to be removed.

this does not automatically mean suspension.

And since the President of the United States announced that he had Covid-19, there have been many messages wishing him to pass away, as Variety notes.

Two weights, two measures ?

The platform is also accused of being double standards.

Because I see these same accounts are still active.
