Miss France can sometimes be a family affair.

Eight years after the coronation of Marine Lorphelin, her little sister Lou-Anne was crowned Miss Burgundy on October 3, and will therefore represent her region during the national competition in December.

It is in the presence of her sister, Miss France 2013, that the young woman of 22 years was given the title from the hands of Clémence Botino, Miss France 2020.

"I am very happy, but a little shocked"

In Master 2 in a business school, Lou-Anne Lorphelin did not hide his emotions from France 3 Bourgogne-France-Comté: “I was not really expecting it.

I cried a lot before the election to empty my emotions and there, suddenly, I have this shock.

But, I am very, very happy and I hope to go as far as possible in the Miss France adventure.

It will be a preparation, I will see how things are presented to me.

I will already realize that I am Miss Burgundy.

I am very happy, but a little shocked ”.

For her part, Marine Lorphelin said she was "proud" of her sister.

“She owes it only to her, because she gave herself completely in this election from the beginning.

I find that she has evolved a lot and that she shines.

She is more and more beautiful and she gains confidence.

Suddenly, it makes me too happy to see her like that, ”she said.

Will Lou-Anne be Miss France, eight years after her sister?
