Show emerging models, far from clichés

In this first number broadcast on Tuesday evening on France 5,

They move the lines

presents the new parenthood.

"We are following a couple of men who had recourse to surrogacy, two mothers who have four children, a woman who had recourse to medically assisted reproduction alone in Denmark, and a community of women who are raising their children together in Belgium", lists producer Katia Maksym.

Parental patterns which, according to the documentary, are far from being on the margins and today represent nearly one in four families.

For journalist Olivier Delacroix, it was important to show these different models from the norm, in the most honest way possible.

And particularly in the presentation of the community of women, presented far from the clichés of the 1970s or a supposed misandry.

"I think this will inspire a lot of viewers," he said.

"We do not always think of this solution of living in community, we had to show that it exists."

A desire to move the lines of society

A desire for journalistic honesty which, according to Oliver Delacroix, is not incompatible with a desire to engage.

"This magazine wants to be militant, so we are going to move the lines of society. And to move these lines, it is also going to provoke a mass that does not want to advance", he explains with reference to the Manif for all.

"In all these people who have taken to the streets, there are many who do not know what they are talking about and who have unconscious fears."

"It is a documentary series of decryption, which is interested in any question which can today make debate in the news and raise questions", summarizes the producer Katia Maksym.

"What interests us are women and men who have made their personal struggle a much more universal story."

The next issues will deal in particular with transidentity, domestic violence and cyber-harassment.
