The bad weather and the floods which ravaged several mountain villages this weekend in the Alpes-Maritimes department, did not spare the Alpha loup park, in Saint-Martin-Vésubie.

Denise Lieuche, the mayor of the small village of Lieuche, also president of the Association of pastoral municipalities in Paca, had alerted on Saturday on her Facebook account about "this very worrying information" received "from the prefecture".

Before the flood, Alpha Wolf Park was home to twelve animals, including species that are not naturally present in this area, including Canadian black wolves and three arctic wolves.
