The passage of storm Alex during the night from Thursday to Friday is still being felt in Brittany.

Following these bad weather, about 6,000 homes are still without electricity this Sunday morning in the region, "including 4,000 in Morbihan", said Enedis, the network manager, in a situation report established this Sunday morning at 8 am .

The Côtes-d'Armor also suffered the full brunt of the return of storm Alex with abundant rains that fell on the department in recent hours.

This Sunday morning, around forty interventions were still in progress, mainly in the sectors of Paimpol and Saint-Brieuc.

"Since Saturday 8 am, we are at more than 800 interventions for floods and material things", indicated the Codis des Côtes-d'Armor, specifying that there were no injuries.

Downpours in the Côtes-d'Armor

Météo-France on Sunday morning lifted the orange rain flooding vigilance in the department.

"For the whole of the Alex episode, the accumulations of rain between Thursday evening and Saturday evening are exceptional, around 150 mm on the north-west of the Côtes d'Armor, and often more than 100 mm elsewhere", indicates a Météo France press release.

It rained 151 mm of water in Saint-Brieuc while the monthly average for the month of October is 82 mm.
