Takada was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in 1939.
He moved to Paris in 1965 and in 1970 founded his own brand and opened a boutique.
Currently, Kenzo produces men's, women's and children's clothing, accessories and perfumes.
The parent company of the brand is LVMH.
