Corona-influenced artist support Agency for Cultural Affairs Next year's distribution cost subsidy policy October 5, 4:31

To help artists affected by the spread of the new coronavirus, the Agency for Cultural Affairs plans to subsidize the cost of the organization's online distribution of performances next year.

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, orchestras and other organizations are being forced to manage their performances with cancellation or postponement.

For this reason, the Agency for Cultural Affairs plans to subsidize the cost of online distribution of performances by organizations such as orchestras, ballet, and theater next year.

We also want to support our activities by expanding the business of dispatching musicians to schools to perform.

On the other hand, for facilities such as halls and theaters, we plan to subsidize the cost of efforts to prevent infection, such as introducing a system to check the body temperature of visitors and installing an air purifier.

The Agency for Cultural Affairs has included the expenses required for these efforts in the budget request for the next fiscal year, and will work to approve the request.
