On the night of the 4th, a fire broke out in eight houses, including a wooden nagaya, in Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture, making it impossible to contact two elderly men.

Police and fire departments are looking for the whereabouts of the two and investigating the cause of the fire.

After 9:30 pm on the 4th, the fire department and police were notified that the building was burning in Nagura, Koyaguchi-cho, Hashimoto City, Wakayama Prefecture.



Twenty-seven fire trucks and other vehicles were put out to extinguish the fire, but they burned one after another in the densely populated buildings, and according to police, a total of eight houses, including wooden nagaya, burned at least about 1900 square meters.



The fire also made it impossible to contact two elderly men.

The police and fire department are searching for the whereabouts of the two and investigating the cause of the fire.



The site is an area where houses are lined up about 200 meters southwest of Koyaguchi Station on the JR Wakayama Line.
