Juul was one of Denmark's most famous and acclaimed poets and a member of the Danish Academy.
She made her debut in 1958 with the collection of poems "Levande og lukket" and a number of her titles have been translated into Swedish, such as Skatan, Den gang med hunden and Mordet på Halland.
