Legal proceedings concerning the attack on Friday in Paris, near the former premises of

Charlie Hebdo

, are advancing.

At the end of four days in police custody, Zaheer Hassan Mahmoud was presented to an examining magistrate who indicted him on Tuesday for "attempted assassinations in connection with a terrorist enterprise" and "criminal association Criminal terrorist.

The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office (Pnat) has also announced that he has been placed in pre-trial detention.

Doubts raised about his identity
