A businessman tries to commit suicide in a live broadcast on Facebook in "Qena"

The owner of a company in the city of Naga Hammadi, in the governorate of Qena, south of Cairo, committed suicide by firing squad, after making a live broadcast on his Facebook page, as reported by the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan.

Al-Watan added that the 40-year-old tried to commit suicide due to financial hardship.

The social media users who saw the clip informed the Najah Hammadi Police Department, in the Al-Rajal district.

The security forces managed to take the man to the hospital, who was shot in the chest, below the armpit. The result of his suicide attempt.
