In July, a male university student in Saitama Prefecture was arrested for the first time in Japan for pretending to be a sole proprietor, applying for a lie and defrauding his benefits.



Also, in August, three company officers were arrested for deceiving benefits by submitting a lie ledger that business income had dropped significantly in Aichi Prefecture.



The three are suspected of cheating 400 million yen by applying for lies for about 400 people.
