  At 6:9 on September 27, the Yancheng Maritime Search and Rescue Center received the police. A fishing boat was collided by an unknown passing boat about 85 nautical miles east of Dafeng Port, Yancheng. The fishing boat sank. One person on the fishing boat was rescued and six people lost contact.

  After receiving the report, the Yancheng Maritime Search and Rescue Center immediately activated the emergency plan, verified the danger information, organized rescue operations, issued navigational warning information, instructed nearby "Jincheng" ships and other merchant ships to assist in the search, coordinated nearby fishing vessels to assist in the search, and requested the East China Sea Rescue Bureau to dispatch The professional search and rescue ship "Donghai Rescue 151" and the search and rescue helicopter "B-7357" rushed to the sea area where the accident occurred.

  An Fujun, deputy director of the office of Yancheng Maritime Search and Rescue Center, said that after the incident, the center also assigned "Hai Xun 0611" and "Hai Xun 0616" to search and rescue from Lianyungang and Yancheng respectively.

The professional rescue helicopter "B-7357" of the East China Sea Rescue Bureau and the emergency duty helicopter "B-7103" of Yancheng Nanyang Airport adopted an alternate flight mode to carry out search and rescue operations at sea.

  "The helicopter found floating objects that were suspected of sinking a fishing boat near the incident sea area, and the search and rescue boat found and salvaged the remains of a victim in the incident sea area," said An Fujun.

  At present, the Yancheng Maritime Search and Rescue Center is organizing the search and rescue of maritime, maritime police and other units and nearby passing ships and fishing boats. At the same time, it is carrying out investigation and evidence collection of the ships involved.
