Containment apparently did not stop Sting from being productive, quite the contrary.

The rock legend took advantage of his time on

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

to announce that he was going to release a new duet album very soon.

“Over the years I have recorded lots and lots of duets with amazing people like Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton.

So we put them all together and we were like "I think we should get them out".

And these duets sound really good.

It will be a Christmas present, ”he told the host, without revealing the title or the precise release date of this new opus.

Never alone

During the show, the singer also performed a new track, in a duet with rapper Gashi, which should not be included in the album, however, since it was written by the young artist from Brooklyn.

“Apparently he was influenced by my music.

He wrote a song about his relationship with his mother.

He played the track for me and I thought it was going to be a hit, and I told him I would like to be on the track if he wanted to.

So I'm making an appearance on the track and we recorded a clip but we haven't met yet, ”added the star.

Sting has continued to collaborate in recent years.

In 2018, he had already recorded an album with reggae star Shaggy, titled
