Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, one of the leading hot spring resorts in Japan, is expected to increase the number of people coming and going, such as the addition of trips to and from Tokyo from next month to the “GO TO Travel” policy to stimulate tourism demand. We have created and released a unique PR video to invite tourists.

This PR video entitled "Resume of Hospitality at Beppu Onsen" was produced by Beppu City at a cost of about 32 million yen in 16 types of sightseeing spots in the city.

Of these, the video shot at the hot springs of a long-established resort hotel emphasizes that female customers can enjoy the hot springs at a distance by shouting "Social Distan Hot Spring".

In addition to infection control measures such as drastically reducing the capacity taken on the ropeway of Mt. Tsurumi, we are also introducing a new product, "3 Honey Dango," which is covered with 3 types of honey over "3 Cs."

In Beppu City, the number of people staying in this city in Obon has decreased by nearly 40% from the previous year, and the impact of the new coronavirus has hit the main tourism industry.

The Beppu City Tourism Division says, "I want people all over the country to know that they are providing hospitality after taking measures against infection, and I want them to visit Beppu with peace of mind."

This video is available on the Beppu City website.
