An investigation was opened following a complaint from an anti-hunting activist who says he was assaulted while filming a hunt on Saturday, we learned on Monday from the Dieppe prosecutor's office and the gendarmes .

The complainant “said he was punched and kicked.

A hunt follower as a suspect

The investigation was opened for "willful violence in assembly and theft", also indicated the magistrate.

According to the gendarmerie, the complainant is an activist from the Anti-Hunting Section group who was following and filming a hunt when the facts occurred around 1 p.m. on Saturday in Ardouval, about fifty kilometers north of Rouen.
