After many efforts, the relatives of the three volunteer martyrs, Lin Shuishi, Ma Shixian, and Ding Zuxi, have all been found.

  At around 8 pm on the 26th, the Bureau of Veterans Affairs of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province found Lin Shuishi's relatives.

"Our whole family was very touched to hear that an uncle's seal was among the martyrs' relics. Thank you to the martyrs who have not forgotten the sacrifice of the party and the country!" Lin Shuxin said.

  After further verification, the martyr Lin Shuishi was born in Tulou Village, Shaxi Town (now Guleigang District), Zhangpu County. He was born in a poor peasant family in October 1928. He participated in the revolution in April 1949, participated in the War of Liberation, and resisted the US and aided Korea. During the war, he was incorporated into the 2nd Battalion and 6th Company of the 218th Regiment of the 73rd Division of the 23rd Army of the Chinese People's Volunteers.

△On June 7, 1953, Lin Suishi died in the battle in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province, North Korea. He died at the age of 25 and was not yet married.

  The martyr Lin Shuishi had only one brother named Lin Shuifa (deceased), who had 2 boys and 5 girls. Among them, his son, Lin Meijin (deceased), adopted the local customs as his son.

Lin Meijin now has three sons in his family, namely Lin Yiyu, Lin Yihui, and Lin Shuxin. They have never seen Lin Shuishi since childhood.

  According to the Zhangpu County Veterans Affairs Bureau, many volunteer army officers and soldiers had their own seals back then. That was because some people were not literate at the time. When communicating with their families, most of them asked for ghostwriters. The final seal was A token between them and their family.

The heroes may not have thought that after more than 60 years, when they have been asleep on the earth, these seals have become the only token for the motherland and family to distinguish them, illuminating their way home.

Martyr Ma Shixian was from Xiangyang Village, Chaoyang Town, Mengjin County

  On the evening of the 26th, the reporter learned from the Ministry of People's and Armed Forces of Mengjin County, Henan Province that Martyr Ma Shixian was from Xiangyang Village, Chaoyang Town, Mengjin County.

Martyr Ding Zuxi is a native of Xiangshan Village, Wuwei City

  The reporter learned from the Veterans Affairs Bureau of Wuhu City, Anhui Province that today (27th) the basic information of the family of Ding Zuxi martyrs has been determined: a native of Xiangshan Village, Yanqiao Town, Wuwei City, Anhui. Sacrifice on the Korean battlefield.

His father's name is Ding Rensong, and the old man has passed away.

  After investigation and verification by relevant departments, the cousin of Martyr Ding Zuxi Zhu Yu (formerly known as Ding Yujie) has been found. The old man is 95 years old this year.

It is understood that Ding Zuxi is a martyr and his cousin is his closest family.
