According to the General Meteorological Agency of Japan, the cyclone is currently located in the area of ​​the Minamitori Atoll and is moving northwest towards the main island of Honshu at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.

The wind speed in the center is 18 meters per second, with gusts - up to 25 meters per second.

Experts expect the storm to hit the east coast of Honshu by mid-week, bringing rainfall and increased winds with it.
