According to a survey published Friday that former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle are the two most admired people in the world.
The YouGov Foundation indicated that this is the first time that the former US president has reached the highest rating since the launch of the "Most Admired" poll in 2014.
And billionaire Bill Gates ranked second among the most admired people, having finished first last year.
Chinese President Xi Jinping came in third.
Michelle Obama remains the most admired woman in the world, actress Angelina Jolie takes second place and British Queen Elizabeth II takes third place.

YouGov interviewed 45,000 people in 42 countries.
