A heavyweight blocked at the Col de Pailhères

The rain-snow limit is around 1,500 meters above sea level and estimates put forward between 10 and 50 cm of snow depending on the areas of the Pyrenean massif.

On Friday, white gold fell on Mourtis, Piau-Engaly, Gavarnie, Gourette or even Tourmalet.

A heavy truck was blocked on Friday in the Pailhères pass, in Ariège, requiring the closure of the road in Mijanès.

Snowfall that can complicate mountain traffic.

The road to Mijanès, in Ariège, is also currently closed because of a heavy truck blocked after crossing the Col de Pailhères on the RD25, Friday morning.

The vehicle, ten meters long, must be cleared this Friday afternoon.

According to the first observations, it seems that these first snowfalls on the massif were not the cause of this incident.
