On September 25, the State Council Information Office held a briefing to introduce the progress of the new coronavirus vaccine work.

Regarding the question of whether there will be adverse reactions after the new crown virus vaccine is inoculated, Wang Junzhi, deputy leader of the vaccine research and development team of the scientific research group and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that the current results of the first and second clinical trials of the new crown virus vaccine show adverse reactions All of them were mild adverse reactions and were within acceptable limits.

The research data completed so far shows that there is no ADE phenomenon ("antibody-dependent infection enhancement effect") related to the new coronavirus vaccine.

China has always put the safety of vaccines first in research and development, and will continue to monitor the risks of new vaccines in the future phase three trials and the launch phase.
