A man in Shanghai "takes a knife against injury", the prosecutor filed a prosecution for intentional injury

  Chen told the Beijing News reporter that Wang Tao’s mobile phone was too loud and he held a utility knife to argue with Wang Tao. During the operation, he injured Wang Tao with the utility knife. He immediately threw the utility knife away. Wang Tao picked up the knife and took it. Scratches on face and hands.

  According to this, Wang Tao’s family said that on the night of the incident, Wang Tao’s mobile phone might be loud enough to make Chen. Chen took a utility knife from the upper bunk and hit Wang Tao, stabbing Wang Tao in the chest, and then Chen scratching Wang Tao left. On the arms and head, Wang Tao took the knife from Chen's hand and scratched Chen's face after feeling the bleeding. Afterwards, Chen and Wang Tao went to the hospital for bandaging treatment.

  The forensic clinical judicial appraisal opinion showed that the appraiser Chen suffered injuries to his face and left hand due to a knife injury.

A wound on the face constitutes a minor injury; a wound on the left hand constitutes a minor injury.

  According to the medical records issued by Shanghai Dongfang Hospital, Wang Tao was examined with two sharp cut injuries on the left occiput and neck, 7cm and 5cm, which were diagnosed as injuries (head knife cuts).

  Wang Tao’s defense lawyer Yu Chao told the Beijing News reporter that he had submitted Wang Tao’s medical records and injury photos to the public security organs and prosecutors on May 28 and August 17, requesting the case-handling agency to appraise Wang Tao’s injuries. And asked Chen to be held accountable.

  According to the indictment, in the early morning of January 15, 2020, Wang Tao had an argument with the victim Chen in the company dormitory due to trivial matters, which led to a physical conflict. He later scratched Chen's face and left hand with a knife.

After forensic medical identification, the injuries of the victim Chen have constituted minor injuries (first class) and minor injuries respectively.

  On August 21, 2020, the procuratorate approved the arrest of Wang Tao, and on the same day the arrest was carried out by the Pudong Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The case was concluded by the Pudong Branch of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau. The defendant Wang Tao was involved in the crime of intentional injury and was transferred to the Procuratorate for review and prosecution on August 27, 2020.

On September 9, the Pudong New Area People’s Procuratorate sued Wang Tao to the Pudong New Area People’s Court for the crime of intentional injury.

  The procuratorate believes that Wang Tao intentionally injured the body of another person, causing one person, one minor injury (level 1) and one minor injury. His behavior has violated the "Criminal Law". Wang Tao has surrendered and can be given a lighter punishment.
