On September 23, a Fujian fishing boat "Mindong Yu 64952" sank during operations off the coast of Dongshan, Zhangzhou in the early morning. When it was in distress, the whereabouts of 5 crew members on board were unknown.

After receiving the task, the East China Sea Rescue Bureau immediately assigned the Second Rescue Flying Team of the East China Sea to search and rescue.

  At 10:43 that day, the B-7310 crew flew from Xiamen Gaoqi Airport to the sea area where the incident occurred.

At 12:42, the crew found a person who fell into the water lying on a wooden board in a critical condition.

Immediately, the rescue helicopter hovered, and the lifeguard went down into the water to rescue the person who fell into the water. The lifeguard verified that the person who fell into the water was a crew member of the missing fishing boat "Mindong Yu 64952". After the ship sank in distress, the crew member was holding a board in the sea. Float for nearly 10 hours.

After rescuing a crew member who fell into the water, the crew found the body of another victim. Taking into account the physical condition of the crew member, the crew decided to send him to Xiang'an Hospital affiliated to Xiamen University for treatment. At present, the crew member is in no life threat.

  As of 9 o'clock on September 24, of the 5 crew members in distress, one was rescued, one was killed, and three others lost contact. The Second Rescue Team of the East China Sea is still in continuous search and rescue.
