Mutual inspiration

Olivier de Benoist does not draw inspiration from his children only to write his shows.

He also uses them for his funny videos on Instagram.

A collaboration that ultimately did not last.

"I no longer do videos with them, because now they ask me for money or to make product placements", laughs the father of the family.

His 15-year-old daughter would like to inspire her father's jokes, but now in a more direct way.

"My daughter wants to become a humorist", explains Olivier de Benoist.

"She writes valves and asks me to test them on stage. Which I obviously don't do. But now she asks me for recordings, to be sure that I tell her jokes."

The four children of Olivier de Benoist represent a source of inspiration that he no longer wishes to feed.

"I don't want more children. With confinement, I did school at home, I couldn't take it anymore," he recalls.

Before ending with a joke: "It seems that there is a Covid generation, children conceived during confinement. While there are parents who would have done everything to separate from their children! Suddenly, I am asks: why were there no exchanges? ".
