On September 22, a bridge in Bangliang Village, Renzhuang Township, Jingxi City, Baise City, Guangxi Province, collapsed. One person fell and died at the scene, and two others were buried.
After the incident, local fire, emergency, public security, medical and other rescue forces rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations.
Rescuers found that the bridge had seriously collapsed and the two missing persons were likely to be buried in the bridge structure. They decided to use manual search and rescue and mechanical assistance to start search and rescue.
After the water area rescue safety protection is done, rescuers will conduct exploratory search and rescue in the water area below the collapse with the assistance of excavators.
At 12:30 on the 23rd, rescuers basically determined the specific locations of the two trapped persons. The rescuers immediately cleaned up the stones on the trapped persons and rescued the two.
Unfortunately, the on-site medical staff confirmed that there was no vital signs.
It is understood that the bridge is an old earth-rock bridge with a length of about 15 meters and a width of about 3 meters. When a collapse accident occurred, there was a heavy rain.
The local government is currently confirming the identities of the three victims, and the aftermath is still in progress.
