Potentially dangerous toys.

The Carrefour retail chain announced on Monday the recall of five types of plush llamas, due to fragile seams that could lead to the ingestion of items by children.

“Concerned about the safety of its customers, Carrefour has decided to voluntarily recall five references from the Lama Tex Baby range,” the group said in a press release.

"A lack of strength of the seams of the pompoms present on these products can cause the presence of small detachable elements liable to be ingested".

Affected customers, who will be reimbursed, are invited to bring the soft toys in question back to the store.
