Anhui Han-aid nurse received a letter from a primary school student in Wuhan

6 months later, she returned to Wuhan to fulfill the agreement

In late March, before completing the anti-epidemic mission and leaving Wuhan, Zhang Qin, the seventh batch of nurses from the Anhui Province medical aid team for Hubei, received a handwritten letter from Zhu Baomin, a pupil from Class 5 (3) of Jinghan School in Wuhan.

After reading the letter, Zhang Qin was moved.

She wrote a serious reply and promised: "I will definitely go to this heroic city again and feel the enthusiasm of Wuhan."

Six months later, on the morning of September 20, Zhang Qin, accompanied by her husband, took the high-speed train from Hefei to Wuhan to fulfill the agreement in the letter.

The wishes that could not be realized because of the epidemic at the beginning have been fulfilled this time.

During the war, Zhang Qin fought in the Houhu district of Wuhan Central Hospital.

The Chinese-aid nurse accidentally received a letter when returning

On the 20th, the weather turned cool and the sky was drizzling.

At 10:50, Zhang Qin appeared at Jinghan School in Wuhan on time.

Zhu Baomin, who is now in sixth grade, and his mother Zhu Jinli have been waiting here.

Zhang Qin took off his mask and called out, "Zhu Baomin, I am Aunt Zhang who wrote to you."

Although there is correspondence, this is the first time the two have met.

Zhang Qin couldn't hide her excitement. She said to Zhu Baomin: "Thank you for writing to me and thank you for your affirmation of our medical team. This time I fulfill my promise and come back to Wuhan to see you and everyone."

In February of this year, Zhang Qin, a nurse at Anhui Children's Hospital, served as a member of the seventh batch of Anhui Province’s medical aid team to Hubei, supporting the Houhu District of Wuhan Central Hospital.

More than a month after the war, before returning home on March 24, she received a letter from the medical team.

When opening the letter, she accidentally discovered that the letter came from a primary school student.

The letter is handwritten, neatly written, and touching.

The letter wrote: Dear Auntie, I only know your name, not what you look like, but I know who you are for.

You understand what family and country feelings are, what is responsibility and responsibility, and what is boundless love.

You look like an example to China, and I will become a person like you when I grow up...

"The child's feelings are very sincere. If he doesn't reply, he will definitely be lost." During the isolation and recuperation after the return trip, Zhang Qin returned a letter to the child.

In response to the children's questions, she responded one by one, and promised him, "I will definitely go back to Wuhan to take a look."

On March 29, Zhang Qin received another letter from Zhu Baomin.

At this time, Zhang Qin had no time to reply because he had returned to work in the hospital and was busy with work.

But she always remembered this agreement with the child.

It was half a year in a flash.

Zhang Qin originally planned to return to Han on National Day, but she decided to advance the plan due to temporary notice of the shift.

On this day, she finally got her wish.

Wuhan elementary school students serve as auntie's tour guide

"Auntie, this is Jiqing Street. It can be lively at night." On the same day, Zhu Baomin acted as a tour guide for Aunt Zhang Qin and took Aunt Zhang to visit the campus. He also came to Jiqing Street, Lihuangpi Road and Hankou River Beach in the rain. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wuhan.

This is Zhu Baomin fulfilling his agreement in the letter.

Zhu Baomin said that he was both surprised and pleasantly surprised when he received a reply from Aunt Zhang.

What they didn't expect was that Zhang Qin came back to Wuhan to visit them after half a year.

Seeing Zhang Qin, Zhu Jinli gratefully said to her, "Without your support for Wuhan, this city would not have come back to life so quickly."

Return to the place to fight and meet former comrades in arms

It's a rare visit to Han, Zhang Qin's one-day schedule is full.

At 3:20 in the afternoon, Zhang Qin came to the Houhu campus of Wuhan Central Hospital, where she used to fight.

She also has to meet an old friend Fu Guihua who had been fighting side by side but had been unable to meet.

Fu Guihua is a nurse in the Houhu District of Wuhan Central Hospital.

In 2018, the two met at a nurse training class in Beijing.

After the training, they returned to their jobs.

This year, Zhang Qin followed the medical team to support the Houhu hospital area.

However, although they are in the same hospital, the two belong to different wards.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, in order to strictly prevent infection, the medical team has strict regulations: it is not allowed to visit friends.

Coupled with heavy work tasks, the two can only communicate through WeChat at ordinary times. When Zhang Qin left, the two were unable to see the above as they wished.

When they finally met this time, the two embraced each other enthusiastically, holding hands, and could not finish talking.

Accompanied by a friend, Zhang Qin returned to the ward on the tenth floor, which has now resumed normal operations.

Standing in the corridor of the ward, the past years of war and epidemics are still vivid.

Zhang Qin was standing in the corridor, taking pictures as a souvenir.

The gathering time was short. At about 5 pm that day, Zhang Qin and her husband boarded the return high-speed train.

Coming and going in a hurry, Zhang Qin has gained a lot. She also made an appointment with Zhu Baomin's family. In the summer vacation next year, everyone will meet again in Anhui.
