No one disputes the pivotal role that it played, and still is, the Central Bank with its successive administrations, which established a financial and banking system that is the largest and strongest in the region, and whose laws and regulations have been able to protect the economy in times of crisis and boom alike, especially during the Corona pandemic, which affected In the economies of most countries of the world, and damaged their financial systems, while the UAE maintained its economic and financial position well.

But over the years also, a relationship prevailed between the bank and the various media, which can be described as "swing", sometimes transparent and deep, and sometimes, most of it, not positive!

We understand that there is information that cannot be published to the public, and we, as a national media, appreciate that, and we share the same concern and concern with government agencies and institutions, but it is also important that we all understand the importance of the media and local national newspapers being the first source of information, number and news, especially in the midst of this flood Of the news and reports that we all know the source of most of them, and in what direction they are employed, in addition to that there are axes related to customers' concerns and complaints, and their need to protect from the intransigence of some bank employees, which requires clear positions and immediate responses by the departments of the Central Bank, every In his field, this is part of their responsibilities, and an important part of their business tasks.

This relationship is completely absent at the present time between the bank and the media, while government communication with the federal authorities, and the accompanying transparency and provision of information to the local national media, is a strategy developed by the esteemed Council of Ministers, which constitutes a mechanism that reduces time and effort in dealing with the media. From the cooperation of officials in the executive authorities, to reach a distinguished form of cooperation with the media in the interest of community service.

Officials in government agencies in general must be convinced and believe that dealing with the media is an essential part of their executive duties, and the matter has nothing to do with the moodiness or the official’s personal point of view about the media. If he is convinced of the role and importance of the media, he is very interactive and responsive. Once angry at any media outlet, he stopped his dealings with all media.

The matter can never proceed according to this thinking, and dealing with the media is an integral part of the public office tasks, and is not related to the personality of the official and his convictions!

Therefore, government agencies are required to form departments or organizational units that facilitate the tasks of media professionals, work to deal with their requests, respond to journalists' questions, or invite them to regular media briefings, and not be satisfied with press statements despite their importance, without allowing direct communication between the government agency and the local media, In the end, we all seek one goal, serving people and the interest of society.
