Visiting the traditional handmade mooncake workshop in Duchang, Jiangxi, and inheriting three generations can't bear to abandon it

On September 18th, the workshop owner Liu Xiaoping and his wife were busy making traditional handmade mooncakes in front of the huge chopping board.

In a private house on Xingfu Road, Duchang County, Jiangxi, there is a local traditional handmade mooncake workshop that has been passed down for three generations.

Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, the small workshop was busy making more than 200 catties of traditional moon cakes every day.

Traditional moon cakes are sweet and crisp, and are popular among the elderly. Although the sales volume is small and the profit is low, the workshop owners cannot bear to abandon them and insist on making them, just to pass on the skills of the ancestors and preserve the nostalgic memories.
