In October 2017, Zhan Wen came to Nayong County, Bijie, Guizhou Province as a member of the Tianhe Education Expert Group for a short-term education poverty alleviation training. The college entrance examination is approaching but he borrowed his mother
In 2018, Zhan Wen was selected to be the deputy principal of Nayong County No. 1 Primary School in Nayong. When she first walked into the classroom of Nayong No.1 Primary School, she said, "Please come back to your classroom." The classroom is crowded. A crowd of more than one hundred students answered her: "We are all in this class!"
Even if Zhan Wen had been psychologically prepared for Nayong's educational conditions, the situation at that time still made her feel anxious, once again deeply aware of the mission of education and assistance, and a long way to go.
The postponement for three months happened to go back to accompany her son in the college entrance examination. This was the first time Zhan Wen decided to postpone her stay in Nayong.
But unexpectedly, when she was going home at the end of three months, there was a pile of naive letters in her luggage.

The students' immaturity and affection really shook Zhan Wen's idea of going home, but there were still sons and elderly parents who were about to take the college entrance examination.
After struggling for a long time, she left these letters and this decision to her son.
"When I was in the second year of high school, I went to the school where my mother taught in Nayong. I asked the children in my class who hadn’t been to the county seat? Most of the children in the class raised their hands, and the county seat is already in the eyes of those children. It’s very big and very good. I told them that there is a bigger and more beautiful world outside, so that they can study hard." After reading the letters from the children to keep their mothers, Xie Zhiyu told her that she was only for the college entrance examination and could live in school. With dad by your side, these children may need you more.

He did a great job on his graduation trip
At the end of the college entrance examination, Xie Zhiyu was invited by his mother to Nayong for a graduation trip. Together with the invitation, there were 11 high school classmates of Xie Zhiyu, and a group of 12 people came to Nayong.
“We did volunteer work in Nayong and shared the experience of the college entrance examination and the outside world with the local children. We also deeply felt the lack of educational resources in Nayong and the luck of being born in a big city."

Xie Zhiyu and his party received a special task when they were about to end their graduation trip, escorting a sick Nayong student to a hospital in Guangzhou.
It turned out that when Zhan Wen visited Longgu Primary School in Nayongshabao Town, a child who was hiding behind a tree with a bulge bigger than a fist on his face caught her attention.
This child is called Zhang Ping. He was born in a poor family when he was only 8 years old. His teacher told Zhan Wen that the bag on the child’s face had grown for more than two years. Because the family could not afford the high medical expenses, he had never treatment.
Zhang Ping's condition and his helpless face make Zhan Wen remember.
After returning to the station, she immediately contacted the hospital and took Zhang Ping to Bijie for an examination the next day.
After a remote consultation, the doctor believed that Bijie did not have the conditions for surgery, but when the child had to be treated, he suggested that the child be sent to Guangzhou for medical treatment.
Zhan Wen established the "Zhangping Health Care Group" to mobilize relatives, friends and all walks of life to donate money to children.
Zhang Ping’s father was not well-educated and could not accompany his child to Guangzhou to see a doctor alone. Xie Zhiyu and his party just returned from Nayong and took on this important task at Zhan Wen’s suggestion.
A group of older children and a young child travelled 1,200 kilometers from Bijie to Guangzhou and successfully sent Zhang Ping to the Guangzhou First People's Hospital for hospitalization.
On July 16, 2019, after surgery, Zhang Ping has basically reshaped his appearance and regained his life.

"My father and I went to Nayong on May 1st this year to see her. The conditions at Nayong's school are much better than before. I heard that she played Cantonese songs in the school. I think she must miss us. I'm homesick." Xie Zhiyu came to Nayong again during May 1st in 2020, and the construction of Nayong Tianhe Experimental School has been basically completed.
On June 1st, Nayong Tianhe Experimental School officially opened. It visited the first batch of students, the first batch of parents, and at the same time, the first principal, Zhan Wen, an excellent teacher from Guangzhou.
The school is equipped with an open-air book bar that is not afraid of wind and rain, a Renzhi lecture hall that can accommodate 234 people, and a fully functional art room, calligraphy room and maker room and other teaching facilities. This is invested and built by Guangzhou Tianhe District. The school gave the children of Nayong County the confidence to fly their dreams.
