On Sunday, September 20, World Paella Day is commemorated (Paella World Day), with a program of activities in Valencia that include the World Paella Cup, a championship that brings together eight international chefs at the Mestalla stadium to see who makes the best paella, and the special edition of Paella Week, in which more than 60 restaurants in the city and other towns of the Valencian Community present their proposals to the public, created especially for this contest. Until September 27, diners can enjoy menus consisting of a starter, a special plate of paella and dessert for 25 euros (reservations here).
